Well, welcome to 2013!! I know i'm a couple of weeks late, but i've been trying to sort out what direction i want Olive Roses Creations to take this year!
I've decided that i will no longer be taking on any formal wear alterations as i'd like to concentrate on special orders, in particular children's clothing!! My children's clothing is now being sold at the popular facebook page "Joey's Corner", as well as the "Olive Roses Creations" facebook page :D I will still be doing basic alterations, like basic hems and zipper replacements.
As far as classes go, i'll be concentrating on 3 main classes each month, with extras popping up when special events (like Valentine's day) come along. These three classes are:
Kit Scrap - $25 per class including all products needed to create 2 12"x12" in class, with lots of extra's to take home! Products will be from coordinating ranges in the Stampin' Up! catalogues, in particular the 'Simply Scrapin' Kits' which you can find on pages 166-168 in the main catalogue.
Here is a sneak of the February Kit Scrap class - using some of the lovely new papers and embellishments that are being released in the new seasonal catalogue on Feb 1st!!
Stamp-a-stack - $15 per class (redeemable for product on the day) including everything you need to make approx. 10 cards. The idea is that you make several of the one design so you always have cards on hand!
Here's a look at the January stamp-a-stack class - which you still have a chance to join in on because it got postponed to Thursday 31st January :D
Sew like a pro - This is a new class starting in Feb! These classes will be fortnightly and starting right from the beginning with machine sewing!! I'm very excited about these classes, as it's really such a dying skill that can be so useful to you and your family. Imagine being able to take up and let down your kids pants and get an extra season out of clothing!!! Or make something special for a friend/family member for birthdays and Christmas!!
These classes will be following the skill level of the attendees. It will start teaching basics and then lead into more complicated skills through project based classes.
Don't forget to keep an eye on the 'timetable' tab, plus some new exciting tabs will be popping up in the near future!!
