Christmas made easy with Stampin' Up!

How are you going with your Christmas shopping? Do you have some crafty people in your life that you think would like a little Stampin' Up! goodness? I've been flicking through the catalogue (which can be viewed online at at any time, or you can purchase a catalogue from me for $7) and i thought i'd give you some ideas to help out with your Christmas shopping!!! I can have your goodies delivered directly to you if you would like!! Or i can get them delivered here and then get them to you :D

First up, i thought i'd address your Christmas card needs!!! For some quick and easy photo insert cards you can go for the "Noel Notes Simply Sent" kit:

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

This kit is $23.95 and is enough to make 8 photo cards - including the cards, card liners, envelopes and envelop liners - plus some taffeta ribbon!! Page 17 of the holiday catalogue.

If you'd like to make some hand-made cards, why don't you join me at my house in Springfield for a Christmas stamp-a-stack workshop - $15 for all the materials you need to make around 10 cards plus some tags!! The last workshop i have is Saturday 15th December from 2pm.

Beginner and experienced scrappers alike would love a "Simply Scrappin' Kit" from Stampin' Up! for Christmas!!

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

These kits are $34.95 and include 3 12"x12" sheets of cardstock stickers, 6 sheets 12"x12" double sided papers and 8 sheets of 12"x12" cardstock!! There are 4 to choose from and they can be found on pages 167-168 of the catalogue.

Scrapbookers would love Stampin' Up! packs of patterned paper too!!

These gorgeous packs are $18.95 for 12 sheets of 12"x12" double sided papers - 6 different designs. There is also some specialty paper packs for $21.95 and of course our Colour collection paper stacks for $37.95 (a bargain for 40 sheets!!!) Pages 162-165 of the catalogue. My personal favourite is the Natural Composition Specialty papers.

Cardmakers love simple stamp sets with lots of varied greetings!! Page 144 of the catalogue has 3 little beauties, starting at just $25.95!! One of these stamp sets plus an ink pad would make a fantastic gift for the budding cardmaker!! And don't forget to throw in a set of our lovely whisper white cardstock which gives the perfect stamped finish!!

A great gift for the beginner cardmaker can be found on page 151 of the catalogue - colour basics - mixed card stock packs and ink pad packs!! Or even some matching ribbons. Talk to me about ribbon splits if you'd rather not purchase a whole roll of the same colour :D

And i havent' forgotten the kids either!! What kid doesn't like to stamp!! How about a simple set who's name says it all - "Mouthwatering" - so much fun, and don't forget that you could create some fun things with them while they are in bed!! Page 48 of the catalogue from $28.95.

And there's great stamps for the boys from dinosaurs to diggers, but check out this great space set on page 65, from $39.95! You'll be able to make boys cards for all ages with this set, while they stamp along with them!! This set would be great for scrapbooking little boys too!

Little girls will love all of the lovely flowers and butterfly's you'll find all through the Stampin' Up! catalogue, but here's one that really grabbed my eye, on page 67, from $33.95. I can really see cards for girls of all ages made out of this set too - think hells and bags!! So fun :D

December is upon us!!

Well, December is upon us and hasn't 2012 flown by!!! Escape the stress, by joining me for a class. I'm only doing papercraft classes this month as there is so much to do with Christmas upon us!! Here's the timetable for December, and you can get more information by clicking on the 'home classes' tab up the top.

Our '25 Days of Christmas' mini album class series started last night, and we had so much fun!! We have a lovely bunch of ladies working on this album, and there is still enough supplies for 1 more person, if you'd still like to join us - i can arrange a separate class to catch you up on what you have missed :D I've been busy working on next week's class today and it's looking fab - i'm so excited!!

I've added a new class to the calendar this month, and i think it's going to excite you!!! Stampin' Up! have a fabulous range of scrapbooking kits called 'Simply Scrappin' Kits' (pages 167-8 in the catalogue) and i'd love to walk you through them!! I'll be selecting 1 kit each month and creating lovely layouts based on these kits!!! I couldn't resist starting with the "Pinwheels on Parade" kit this month as it's just such a lovely kit, with elements such as pinwheels, banners and artisan tags, which are just a few of my favourite things in scrapbooking right now!!

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

You can choose from the 'budget' kit, which is $20 and is a half kit, or the 'spare no expense' kit, which is the whole kit and $40 for the class - i will be teaching both classes at the same time and there will be enough to create what i show you in class from both kits, but the 'spare no expense' kit will give you more leftovers to play with when you get home :D

If you'd like to join me for this class (Monday 17th Dec 7:30-10pm) you'll need to let me know by 10th Dec AT THE LATEST so that i can order enough for the class!!

Enjoy perusing the timetable and deciding which class you want to do - or book in for all of them!!

25 Days of Christmas Mini Album Classes

Hello to my lovely crafty friends!!

Have you ever wanted to do a '25 days of Christmas' mini album and just didn't know where to start, or have you started one and not finished it, so therefore you don't want to start another?

This year i'm going to be running a series of workshops to put together a '25 days of Christmas' mini album. I've done one the last 2 years, and it's a fabulous keepsake, especially capturing all the little things that the kids say and do and traditions that you are developing in your family.
The workshops would be in my Springfield home at the same time once a week from the last week in November to the first week in January (excluding the week of Christmas), so we can start the album early and put the finishing touches on it in Jan!! I'm thinking a weeknight might be good.
The total cost is $100, and a $50 deposit would be required to book so i can go ahead and order some things straight away. I'm going to do it, regardless of how many people i get interested, but the more people i have, the better the class will be. So, if you're keen get some friends along too - that way you'll get more split between you all to play with!! All materials will be provided for this price and it will be over 5 classes. If you miss a class, or can't make it to the classes at all - even if you're interstate - i can send you the class instructions weekly via email :D You'll just have to pay about $10 extra for postage.
I'll be using the new Sn@p! albums which you can choose the colour of - Brown, Green or Orange. I'll have to order them pretty soon to make sure i have them all for the workshops though. I think Brown will work best with what i have in mind, so that's what i'll be ordering for myself :D
You can see an example of my album from last year in this online album, but this years one will be a bit different, with the divided pocket pages - and the album it comes in will make it much more finished too :D
I really hope to get this one going, and i'd like to order the albums this week if possible. I'll also set up a private facebook page for the members of the class so we can keep contact with each other and i can give you extra little hints as we go along!!
If you are keen for this class, drop me a line at and i'll get you started with this awesome and very exciting project!!!

Sew, Sew, Sew...

I thought i'd share some of the sewing projects i've been working on today!!

I've had lots of mending and alterations lately, but also a very fun special order - which has turned into something a little bigger!!

I had a customer ask me to make a Thomas the Tank Engine bucket hat for their toddler. I instantly thought "Hey, if i'm making one, why not make a few more - at the very least, Calvin will love one!!" And boy does he!!! He's hardly taken it off him!! I have made 5 so far, one for Calvin, 3 pre-orders and 1 which sold within a few hours of me posting it on my Facebook page!!

Aren't they so cute? I've been shopping for more fabric this week and got some Spiderman and Dora, along with some lovely floral fabrics for girls plus some great bright cars and trucks fabric for boys (i'd say Calvin is going to want one of them too!!!) I'm itching to start them, but i am concentrating on my embellishments this week, preparing for the sale.

If you'd like to order one of these fabulous hats, please email me - they are $20 and can be posted within Australia for $3, or picked up from Springfield (Brisbane)

If you have something else in mind that you have been thinking about getting made, let me know and i can send you a quote and some fabric options!!

Just a reminder that my embellishment sale is on this Friday - 4th May. I'll be posting it here around noon (hopefully!!!) and then over at the Scrapbooking Top 50 Crafters Markets in the evening, so check in Friday arvo to get first dibs!!!

May Embellishments Sale This Friday!!!

I've been a busy girl creating some fun embellishments for my next sale - and it's going to be this Friday (5th May). I thought i would have it coincide with the Scrapbooking Top 50 Crafters Markets!! I'll be posting it here first though - hoping to have it up around noon, so that my blog followers get 'first dibs'.

Here's a little bit of what i'm going to have on sale - very different to what i've had before!!

Do you see anything you like? Make sure you check back here on Friday then!! I'm going to be doing lots more fabric buttons and yo-yo's too - i'll be a busy bee with them all week :D

Before i head off this arvo, i just thought i'd give a shout out to the Scrap The Girls Challenge Blog - i'm a sponsor there this month!! If you'd like to score a lovely pack of my goodies for free, make sure you're playing along there this month!! The challenge this month is a quote challenge:

"Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of.

You know whatever you do, they'll still be there." Amy Li

I like this challenge because so many of the challenge sites have mothers day challenges this month - so it's nice to focus on sisters!! Good luck with the challenge and see you Friday!!!
